Applications:
Aluminium bolted connectors for aluminium conductors or tubes in substation up to 330 kV.
Description:
This range includes:
- Straight and tee connectors,
- Busbar support
- Straight terminal palm connectors for substation apparatus: CT, VT, CB, disconnectors…
These products can connect aluminium conductors or tube to copper stud without any additive part. A bimetallic sleeve or sheet is recommended for the connection on copper palm or silver plated stud.
Products are cast in first melting ingot of Aluminium alloy according to European standard. They can be heat treated (356 T6) if needed.
Standard connectors are equipped with stainless steel bolts quality A2 (other grade or quality can be delivered on request).

- Aluminium conductors from 35 to 1200 sqmm (AWG 0 to 2250 MCM)
- Aluminium tube 30 to 250 mm (metric system)
- Aluminium tube IPS standard 3 to 5 schedule 40/80
- Alu/Copper stud 30 to 80 mm
- Alu/Copper palm 80×80, 100×100, 125×125 or other dimensions on request
- Connectors for bundle conductors with distance 100 to 200mm between them

- NEMA CC1 standard requirement for
- RIV & CORONA 330kV phase to phase
- Temperature rise
- Mechanical tests - IEC 694 standard requirement for short circuit.
Benefits:
Connectors designed to connect independently conductor or stud up to 45mm, external diameter with a clamping range of +/- 5mm for each size (ex: calibre 30 takes from 26 to 30.99 O/D conductor).
